Building the Capacity
The Mission Is Bigger Than the Building. The Building Makes More of the Mission Possible.
CAF can advance water safety, aquatic access and aquatic sports today through advocacy, partnerships, community engagement and planning. But delivering the full programming vision requires the aquatic capacity to support it.
That's why Colorado Aquatics Foundation's immediate fundraising priority is advancing the Colorado Aquatic Center. Building that capacity is a critical step toward creating the programs, partnerships and opportunities envisioned for the community.

Help Fund Phase 1 of the Colorado Aquatic Center
CAF is targeting $3.2 million in Phase 1 funding by October 31, 2026 for steel acquisition, architectural and engineering design, and permitting. The main Zebulon building is funded and moving forward. The Colorado Aquatic Center is outside that funded scope and depends on CAF raising the funds required to advance it. Reaching the Phase 1 target positions CAF to pursue coordination with the current Zebulon development and construction window.

Douglas County has named CAF as its aquatics development partner, and the broader Zebulon project is moving forward. CAF is independently fundraising for the Colorado Aquatic Center. Leadership and naming opportunities are available for major gifts.
